Installations are in Ho Chi Minh/Dong Nai, Hanoi, Da Nang and Hai Phong MESA, Ariz. (June 30, 2015) – Iveda® (OTCQB: IVDA), worldwide enabler of cloud-based video surveillance through licensing its Sentir® platform, has completed the multi-location phase of installation for VNPT. VNPT is the largest telecommunications group in Vietnam with regional sales and support offices in all 63 Vietnam provinces. VNPT forecasts hundreds of ZEE® cameras sold per month per province and with just 200 cameras per province, which equates to approximately 150,000 cameras annually, the hardware revenue to Iveda is approximately $18 million on an annual basis. Iveda will also receive a perpetual monthly recurring Sentir license fee per camera on the Sentir platform. Upon verification of the data center installation, the VNPT/Iveda agreement calls for VNPT to issue a purchase order for a minimum of 10,000 cameras (approximately $1.2 million), in preparation for the market launch of ZEE plug and play cloud cameras with 24/7 access to live and recorded video via VNPT’s cloud. In addition to VNPT, Iveda recently announced a Sentir licensing agreement with Viettronics, the largest electronics manufacturer in Vietnam. The agreement requires a minimum commitment of 50,000 cameras on the Sentir platform within the first 12 months of the five-year agreement. Iveda’s license fee for Sentir is $3 per month per device managed on the Sentir platform; the first 50,000 cameras under this agreement will generate an annualized recurring license fee of $1.8 million. Until Sentir’s firmware is integrated into Viettronics’ cameras later this year, Viettronics plans to use Iveda’s ZEE cameras for its customers’ near-term cloud video surveillance deployments, with current projects requiring 50,000 cameras which equates to approximately $6 million of hardware revenue. “We are busy executing on the very large contracts we have in hand and in the sales process with other Vietnam Telecoms,” said David Ly, chairman and CEO of Iveda. “I was born in Vietnam and to be able to communicate the value proposition of Sentir’s scalability and flexibility to the Telecom management in Vietnamese, has been a bonus. We are optimistic that the Sentir platform will be the standard for video surveillance as a service in Vietnam, hence will be a reference worldwide.”

Iveda Receives 50,000 Camera License Commitment From Viettronics Agreement Represents at Least $1.8 Million in Annualized Recurring Revenue MESA, ARIZ.–(Marketwired – Jun 10, 2015) – Iveda® (OTCQB: IVDA), enabler of cloud video surveillance through licensing the Sentir® video management software platform, executed a licensing and reselling agreement with the security surveillance manufacturing division of Viettronics. Viettronics is the largest electronics manufacturer in Vietnam. The agreement requires a minimum commitment of 50,000 cameras on the Sentir platform within the first 12 months of the five-year agreement. Iveda’s license fee for Sentir is $3 per month per device managed on the Sentir platform, so the first 50,000 cameras under this agreement will drive annualized recurring license fee of $1.8 million. Iveda will supply firmware to enable Viettronics-manufactured devices the Sentir plug-and-play cloud capabilities currently used in Iveda’s ZEE® line of cameras for an additional one-time fee on each device. Viettronics BienHoa Division (under the BELCO brand) is the largest security surveillance products manufacturer in Vietnam, with government and large enterprise customers in the healthcare, energy and telecommunications industries. For Viettronics, this is a solution that customers have been looking for, rather than a solution looking for customers. Viettronics plans to deliver the first 50,000 cameras to projects that have already been awarded. Until Sentir’s firmware is integrated into Vietnam-manufactured BELCO branded cameras, Iveda’s ZEE plug-and-play cloud cameras will be purchased by Viettronics for its customers’ near-term cloud video surveillance deployment requirements. Viettronics has selected the Sentir platform for its flexible and scalable cloud architecture to be the standard for its current and future video surveillance camera business segment. We anticipate installation of Sentir into the data centers of Viettronics and their major telecommunication customer at the beginning of our third quarter and realizing camera and licensing revenue beginning in that same quarter. Additional Sentir installations may be required depending on Viettronics’ large enterprise customers’ private cloud requirements. “Iveda’s traction and successes with the largest telecoms in Vietnam was a catalyst for Viettronics to engage and leverage Sentir’s benefits for their customers immediately throughout the region,” said Sean Nguyen, a local telecom liaison. “Iveda is focused on leveraging the extensive end-user customer base of service providers to deliver video surveillance as a service,” commented David Ly, chairman and CEO of Iveda. “This opportunity to license Viettronics, a camera manufacturer that already supplies service providers, is a natural progression and follows our internal culture of creating win-win relationships with partners that can help us grow our licensing annuity of Sentir. Viettronics’ backlog of enterprise and telecom customers desiring scalable cloud based video surveillance management is a testament to a growing demand that we are poised to address.”

MESA, Ariz. (April 8, 2015) – Iveda® (OTCQB: IVDA), enabler of cloud video surveillance through licensing the Sentir™ platform, announced today that Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) executed an agreement with Iveda  to launch a cloud video surveillance service offering in Vietnam. VNPT will install Iveda’s Sentir software platform in their data center and launch the service country-wide. VNPT has regional sales and support offices in all 63 Vietnam provinces and will market to their DSL home and business subscribers. VNPT forecasts hundreds of ZEE® cameras sold per month in each province in the second half of 2015. At just 200 cameras per province, which equates to approximately 150,000 cameras annually, the hardware revenue to Iveda is approximately $1.5 million per month. True to Iveda’s business model, Iveda will also receive a monthly recurring Sentir license fee per camera. “This is more than just a new product offering,” said An Tang vice director of the strategy board for VNPT. “This is a new business plan initiative that our regional sales offices in Vietnam are incentivized and mandated to implement as a significant source of new revenue. VNPT is very excited about this new offering and its ease of distribution to our customers. Sending a plug and play camera without a technician or technical installation is especially exciting to our sales organization.” Sentir enables VNPT’s customers 24/7 access to both live and recorded video via a web browser and a free mobile app as well as email and SMS alerts. This cloud-based offering requires no DVR (digital video recorder) or special software. “We have a strong customer demand for video surveillance,” added Tang. “In the past, we have sold the traditional DVR-based systems, which required costly technical installation and support. It was not as efficient as we and our customers would have liked. We are excited to deliver Sentir cloud-enabled cameras to VNPT customers. We expect to increase business volume in the video surveillance market segment as a result of this collaboration.” “By enabling fast and efficient delivery of cloud video services, Sentir is providing telecoms greater competitive advantage globally,” said David Ly, chairman and CEO of Iveda. “Vietnam is an exciting market for us, and we will use our success there as a template for further expansion around the world.”

Iveda and Chunghwa Telecom Partner for $1.5 Million Cloud-Video Surveillance Contract

In Compliance with New Construction Site Monitoring Policy in Taipei City Mesa, Ariz. (April 2, 2015) – Iveda® (OTCQB: IVDA), enabler of cloud video surveillance through licensing the Sentir™ platform, announced today that its Taiwan subsidiary, MEGAsys was awarded a contract by Chunghwa Telecom to collaborate on a $1.5-Million project for Taipei City. Iveda’s Zee® cloud cameras, powered by Sentir video management platform, will be used to provide live surveillance of hundreds of government-funded construction sites in Taipei City. Iveda will build the Sentir cloud infrastructure including a 1200-terabyte storage system, while Chunghwa will provide the bandwidth. The project will commence in June 2015. “This is the fourth significant 2015 project that we have announced in Taiwan with an accumulated value of approximately $5 million compared to revenues of just over $1 Million in 2014 from our Taiwan subsidiary,” said Bob Brilon, president and CFO of Iveda.  “We are proud of our team in Taiwan and the significant increase in year-over-year revenue projects.  This municipal government contact award is a testament to the benefits of Sentir.  Globally, our current and future telecom customers installing Sentir can offer this feature to their municipal government customers.” Sentir is being implemented to comply with the new policy instituted by the Taipei City government which requires construction companies to have publicly-accessible cameras for live video at every government-funded construction site. Sentir will allow citizens to watch their dollars at work, monitor progress and potential environmental hazards such as excess dust. This allows citizens to provide input and lodge complaints if necessary. “The Sentir cloud-based platform is a perfect solution to manage large number of cameras in multiple locations and to enable simultaneous public access to live video at the construction sites,” said David Ly, chairman and CEO of Iveda. “The new policy presents a huge opportunity for widespread deployment of Sentir, not only in Taiwan but municipalities around the world, providing transparency to government-funded projects to its constituents.” Taipei City government will purchase Iveda’s Zee cameras and license the Sentir platform for the construction sites; construction companies are expected to provide 3G/LTE connectivity. In addition, a central monitoring facility will be required with a manager or administrator to remotely monitor the construction site via Sentir, to report on any emergency. Citizens will be able to access live video from the construction sites from a smartphone app, using a universal username and password, which will be posted at the construction sites. They will be able to take snapshots of videos and save on their phones. The government will have full access to live and 180-days recorded video from a web browser or smartphone app and get event notifications. Sentir was designed to be scalable and flexible, allowing multiple access levels and security protocols. The initial purchase of 460 Zee cameras will be used in construction projects in Taipei City. The new Taipei City policy is expected to be a standard policy throughout Taiwan. Sentir was chosen for the project because of its robust and scalable cloud video management platform, necessary to handle the traffic of simultaneous video access by the citizens and administrators. Sentir-enabled, plug and play Zee cloud cameras are ideal for temporary construction site application for its ease of deployment. Access to live and recorded video can be achieved within minutes of providing power and Internet connection. Installation of digital video recorder (DVR) or software is not required at every construction site. Sentir does all the processing and recording of video in the cloud at the service provider’s data center. “With Sentir utilizing telecom infrastructure, these kinds of applications can be implemented on a large-scale for practical use with greater ease and less cost,” said Ly. In addition to Zee cameras, IvedaMobile® will be utilized for real-time inspection and remote support on job sites. Sentir-hosted, IvedaMobile enables smartphones and tablets to be a mobile video and audio transmitter for instant sharing. Iveda will earn a monthly fee for this service.

MESA, Ariz. (February 20, 2015) – Iveda® (OTCQB:IVDA), enabler of cloud video surveillance through its Sentir™ platform, today announced that it received a purchase order for 10,000 Zee® plug-and-play cloud cameras from Filcomserve. The PO has a value of $1.33 Million consisting of four camera models. In addition to the camera revenue, Iveda will recognize an additional perpetual monthly licensing fee for each camera activated on the Sentir platform. The cameras will be shipped to Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT), Filcomserve’s largest customer. Filcomserve is Iveda’s exclusive distributor in the Philippines and manages the day-to-day business relationship with PLDT. Filcomserve is an information and communications technology company, providing turn-key solutions to telecommunications and IT companies. “This purchase order is only the beginning. Based on an initial market study, conservatively, we anticipate a minimum of 30,000 cameras sold by the end of this year,” said Lino Barte, CEO of Filcomserve. “We expect demand from PLDT of similar or greater quantity in the coming months.” “This is an additional validation for Iveda’s Sentir platform, enabling plug and play video surveillance on a massive scale, operating within the high-capacity telecom environments with near infinite scalability utilizing both fixed line and mobile networks, said David Ly, chairman and CEO of Iveda. “Traditional video surveillance made it prohibitive to accommodate more users because of cumbersome installation, complicated systems, and cost. Sentir enables our telecom partners to offer simple, plug-and-play cloud video applications to users.” PLDT is launching the first scalable cloud video monitoring product and service offering in the Philippines to cater to its millions of subscribers, after conducting extensive testing within their data centers, market trials and an advertising campaign. The new bundled service is targeting small-to-medium enterprises such as shipping companies with docks and warehouses and chain restaurants with multiple locations. A typical telecom offering may include a bundled package with a DSL line, a plug-and-play cloud camera, live video access and 7-day video recording in the cloud, accessible 24/7 using a web browser or a mobile app. The bundle may be offered for a simple monthly fee with no upfront cost or a discounted upfront cost for the camera and a monthly fee for the service, similar to a cellular phone/service offering. The cloud video surveillance offering eliminates the expense of on-premise video storage and the cumbersome set-up and maintenance associated with typical closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. This capability enables real-time viewing, push notifications, alerts and recorded playback. Iveda’s licensing of its Sentir cloud video platform makes this all possible. In a recent article in Manila Standard Today, Ariel Fermin, executive vice president at PLDT said “In 2014, we have invested heavily in improving and expanding our infrastructure so we can reach more homes and provide them the strongest connections.” According to the article, PLDT Home DSL was recently hailed as the strongest broadband brand in the country by recent surveys. This infrastructure improvement in the Philippines bodes well for cloud video surveillance services. PLDT is the Philippines’ leading provider of domestic, international long distance, broadband, cellular services and information and communications technology with over 70 million subscribers (more subscribers than Sprint and T-Mobile in the U.S.). PLDT is listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE:TEL) and its American Depositary Shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:PHI). PLDT has one of the largest market capitalizations among Philippine-listed companies. “We follow the methodical processes of our telecom partners. It takes time, but once they validate technology and market potentials, they proceed to a well-orchestrated market launch, said Ly. “We anticipate more telecom innovations in emerging markets in the years to come. I’m thrilled to see Iveda establishing Sentir as an integral part of the global ecosystem and the technological advancement of the telecom industry.  There is much growth to look forward to and video is only the beginning.” In addition to worldwide telecoms, Sentir is also a perfect fit for Internet Service Providers, data centers and cable service providers that want to leverage their subscriber base for an additional offering of products and monthly services. Iveda collects monthly licensing fee as the service provider bills their customers for services.
