Iveda Solutions Looks to Expand Global Sales Team

Mesa, AZ (December 14, 2010) – Iveda Solutions (OTCBB:IVDA) announced today the expansion of its global sales team.
The recent acquisition of a government agency customer in Mexico, the pending merger with MEGAsys, a Taiwan-based security technology company, and a flurry of international opportunities in the company’s sales pipeline have compelled management to reassess its global strategies.
The company is currently seeking to hire a Senior Vice President of Global Sales to support global expansion. The potential addition to the executive team will lead channel sales, business development, and build the company’s direct sales team.
Iveda Solutions also announced its engagement with Martijn Kolenbrander, a security industry insider. Based in the Netherlands, Martijn will focus on sales and business development efforts, opening international markets for Iveda Solutions’ video hosting through cloud computing.

Martijn brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to Iveda Solutions. Prior to helping Iveda Solutions, he served as Vice President of Business Development for VITAMIND, a leading consumer-focused security video analytics company, where he successfully developed their global distribution channel. He also held the position of Director of Business Development at IQinVision for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. IQinVision was first-to-market with megapixel camera technology and remains one of the market leaders.

The company also announced the promotion of Ray Palomaa, another industry veteran, as Vice President of Channel Sales. Ray joined the company in 2008 as Director of Sales. Ray and Martijn are no strangers to each other and, in fact, have worked on sales opportunities together at IQinVision. Ray was one of its founders and served as VP of Sales. In his new position, Ray will focus on developing the company’s reseller distribution channel in the U.S. and abroad.
